In this role, you'll ensure prescription data is entered accurately and efficiently so that patients receive the correct medications on time. This position is ideal for someone with a background in LTC or institutional pharmacy settings who is confident with high-volume data entry and pharmacy systems.
What You’ll Do
  • Accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy systems (QS1 and DocuTrack)
  • Verify prescription details, including SIG codes, NDC numbers, DEA schedules, and cycle fill codes
  • Review and process faxed prescriptions for timely handling
  • Communicate with internal teams to support prescription fulfillment
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and pharmacy compliance standards
  • Assist with insurance verification and problem resolution as needed
Schedule
  • Training: First 3 months – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Regular Shift (Post-Training): 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, including weekends, holidays, and some overtime
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years of LTC or institutional pharmacy data entry experience
  • Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license required
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of pharmacy terminology, dosage formats, and billing codes
