We are seeking highly motivated and qualified attorneys for various offices in the state of Florida…...Miami, Orlando and Jacksonville…. Immigration experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated lawyers with experience in other legal areas who desire to become practitioners in the immigration field. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, team member, manager, and self-starter. The candidate must also possess good business acumen and the desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth practice.
 
If selected, the attorney needs the ability to handle a fast caseload, day-to-day interactions with clients and potential clients, manage a large team of paralegals, meet deadlines, and be available to their clients and the firm's partners as needed. Organizational skills and project management are also essential to the success of the role.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Meet with potential new clients
  • Coordinate case and legal strategy
  • Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines
  • Train and supervise staff
  • Prepare and revise court documents
  • Conduct legal research and write motions, briefs, and memoranda
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes and judicial case law
  • Market the law firm's services
  • Work one Saturday a month with the potential for bonuses for new clients signed during those days
  • Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm
  • Handle court hearings and trials
  • Become an expert on Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required)
  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR (required)
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Fluent in Spanish (required)
  • Immigration experience (1 year or more)

A fast-growing and prestigious law firm with multiple offices in the US…We are seeking highly motivated and qualified attorneys for various offices.
Immigration experience is required.
 
We are seeking an attorney to work fully remote to work on USCIS and USCIS-related immigration cases and conduct consultations with potential new clients.
 
If selected, the attorney will work alongside with firm attorneys and paralegals on day-to- day interactions with clients in preparation for their Individual and Master Hearings before the immigration courts, meet deadlines, and be available to their clients and the firm's partners as needed. Organizational skills and project management are also essential to the success of the role.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions
  • Manage workload of cases
  • Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions
  • Review immigration applications/packets and make any necessary adjustments
  • Present to and work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on changes in immigration law
  • Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategy
  • Develop strategy and prepare clients/witnesses for USCIS interviews
  • Provide legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits
  • Prepare and submitting legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases
  • Prepare, submit, and review several immigration applications, including family and humanitarian-based petitions before USCIS
  • Coordinate case and legal strategies with other team members
  • Prepare and manage various case filings and deadlines
  • Review, edit, and prepare briefs, cover letters, and case filings to USCIS
  • Research unique legal issues and keep abreast of legislative changes that impact immigration
  • Develop solutions to complex legal issues
  • Handle other job duties as assigned by the firm’s partners

 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required)
  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any U.S. State or territory (DC, Puerto Rico)
  • Fluent in Spanish (required)
  • Must have 1 to 4 years of Immigration experience required
