Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5 or more years of experience in the fields of SRE, DevOps or as a production support engineer.
  • 2-3 years of experience provisioning and managing cloud computing platforms in Azure.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing the API layer with an API Management tool (Azure APIM).
  • 2-3 years of experience managing enterprise on-prem infrastructures (VMs, LBs, Networks, Windows Server).
  • 2 years of experience writing scripts in one or a combination of the following languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.
  • Experience in leading SRE and DevOps work initiatives from inception to production.
  • Experience designing a CI/CD automation of distributed Internet/e-commerce applications that support high-traffic websites.
  • Build and manage code release pipelines to DEV, QA, Stage, and Production environments.
  • Work independently as the technical lead for assigned projects representing DevOps.
  • Collaborate with architects to implement and deliver infrastructure design.
  • Create technical documentation as needed.
  • Experience with Azure applications using the following platforms and infrastructure: App Services, ASE, ALB, VNETs, DNS, FWs, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, and Data Factory.
  • Windows Application Servers with SQL Server backends (IIS, WebApps, WebServices, etc).
  • Experience using monitoring tools such as Splunk, Application Insights, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.
  • Attend daily SCRUM standup meetings with business, development, and QA teams.
  • Bonus for Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
