ttg Talent Solutions has partnered with a globally respected luxury goods manufacturer specializing in high-performance powerboats to find a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company known for its legacy of craftsmanship, innovation, and excellence, located in a boutique manufacturing environment in Miami, FL.
The Accountant will be an integral part of the Finance and Accounting team, contributing to full-cycle accounting operations, performing cost analyses, and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including production and operations to ensure precise product cost reporting and financial compliance.
We are looking for a professional who is analytical, detail-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger management, and month-end close processes.
- Perform detailed cost accounting analyses; monitor material, labor, and overhead costs, and investigate variances.
- Maintain and reconcile accurate inventory and product costing records in ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Prepare financial statements and management reports with thorough analysis and commentary.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts; monitor financial performance and identify trends.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and internal controls, implementing enhancements where needed.
- Collaborate across departments (production, engineering, supply chain) to align financial reporting with operational realities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to: Director of Finance Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP principles and full-cycle accounting practices.
- Hands-on experience with cost accounting and inventory management processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are a plus but not required.
