ttg has been engaged by one of its clients to find their next Vice President of Marketing who will be responsible for:
  1. Developing, implementing, and overseeing various marketing initiatives and branding efforts
  2. Establishing and leading product marketing strategies, and
  3. Building brand awareness resulting in a stronger market position.
 
Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for understanding the industry and the company’s position in it,
  • Produce Competitive and Market analysis to determine and highlight value proposition,
  • Work with internal stakeholders to plan, create, and launch compelling and creative campaigns bolstering initiatives that resonates with targeted audiences.
  • Lead customer-centric thinking and design programs to meet those target markets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance and align efforts.
  • Establish goals and create strategy for meeting marketing deliverables and metrics.
  • Provides leadership in developing and delivering long-term strategies, plans, timely and on-budget delivery of marketing communications products, and compelling messages and visuals that enhance the company’s reputation in support of business objectives, core narrative messaging, and branding. 
  • Own and deliver all creative assets, run-the business campaigns, flagship campaigns, and do them all with a high caliber team and a closed look measurement framework
  • Build and lead a world-class performance marketing team who are deeply analytical in approach, tools and techniques; and knows how to acquire new customers while constantly optimizing spend
  • Work backwards from customer need and research to identify and define insights, strategy, and then design and launch flagship campaigns and go-to-market approach that drive traffic to company and build our brand externally (and internally)
  • Represent the customer internally by communicating, learning through research and analysis, sharing insights with internal partners such as marketing and category leaders, and constantly ensuring that customer needs are met
  • Setup/lead a best-in-class product marketing mentality and culture
  • Employ mathematical and scientific frameworks for measuring marketing spend and design scalable, transparent mechanisms which maximize spend ROI
 
Supervisory Responsibilities
 
Personnel as assigned. 
 
Qualifications/Requirements: 
  • 5 years of relevant and progressive responsibilities with a successful track record in sales, marketing, client relationship management, and offering strategic solutions that deliver desired business results at a senior level.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of marketing strategies and delivery and experience in a large, globally diverse business environment.
  • Successful skills in developing and presenting compelling written/oral proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and public relations strategies to define company brand and global reach.
  • Proven success supporting high volume sales environment.
  • Demonstrated listening skills with ability to interpret client and business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance sales and support company goals by driving accountability for measured results.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments and create strategic solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought and comparison/selection of complex alternatives, and apply interpretative thinking to identify, understand and define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate actions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and credibility, and to collaborate successfully with clients and business partners.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of professional and ethical conduct.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills, and client-facing/management skills; presentation, and decision-making skills with service orientation. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Skilled change manager demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
