VP of Marketing Operations

 
Position: Vice President of Marketing Operations
 
We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Marketing Operations to lead and oversee all marketing operations of the company and develop its marketing strategy and vision. You will be involved in every aspect of project collaboration; supervise and guide copywriters, graphic designers and social media professionals to create a work, such as a website, an advertisement or an email campaign. You will report directly to the President and COO of the company on new assignments and major decision approvals.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • “Listen” to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company
  • Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands
  • Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
  • Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)Continue
  • Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals
  • Create a solid network of strategic partnerships
  • Ensures designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company ideas
  • Shoulder the responsibility of the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team
  • Monitor and report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation and execution
  • Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using the most current industry best practices
  • Anticipate problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement solutions
 QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Competencies and Education:
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience as VP, Marketing Operations or similar role required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or related field; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
  • Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.)
  • Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM)
  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities
  • Familiarity with a variety of software programs, such as Photoshop and InDesign
  • Comfortability interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals
  • Recent hands-on experience with applying design, copy, or web best practices
  • Professional business skills, such as negotiation, project management, and leadership
  • Knowledge of opportunities, trends, and features in both traditional and social media space
  • Computer software skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Mac operating systems
  • Web design experience with WordPress and HTML5 a plus
  • Ability to present information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail
