Supervisor, Warehouse Distribution
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing – Highly confidential – Hiring ASAP
Must have experience in a supervisory role in a highly regulated industry
  • Supervise and leads the shipping, receiving, storage and distribution of the company’s pharmaceutical products in the U.S.
  • Ensures management decisions, policies and procedures are implemented timely.
  • Carries out the efficient and profitable flow of product into and out of the warehouse, and ensures accuracy and timeliness of orders and deliveries, and monitoring the day-to-day activities of the warehouse staff.
  • This position is responsible for 10 employees.
  • REPORTS TO The Operations Manager
  • 3rd shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Select Duties:
  • Oversee the assigned tasks as necessary, to maintain efficient utilization of employees and to ensure daily workloads are completed on schedule.
  • Ensure employees have received adequate training to perform their job functions in full compliance with established company. and Regulatory Standards including, but not limited to, the company’s. Safety Rules and Policies, GMP, FDA, and OSHA.
  • Responsible for compliance to DEA regulations on the storage and distribution of controlled substances.
  • Maintains acceptable levels of product to support the order fulfillment operation.
  • Provides both leadership and direction to all staff members.
  • Establishes controls, measurements and operating procedures for the order picking operations.
  • Ensures that all procedures produce timely, cost effective, and accurate pick/pack order processing.
  • Assists in design and procurement of effective, cost efficient packing materials.
  • Interviews, hires, and performs staff evaluations.
  • Monitors work quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of products.
  • Coordinates and controls the order cycle and associated information systems.
  • Analyses logistical problems and recommends new solutions.
  • Implements health and safety procedures.
  • Analyses production data to monitor performance and assess staffing requirements.
Are you a match? 
  • Do you have a Bachelors Degree – completed?
  • At least 4 years in the industry or in related “highly regulated” industry?
  • Relevant experience?
  • Some Experience in Operations, QA, Warehousing, and transportation?
  • Knowledge of the transportation of controlled substances?
Competitive salary 10% bonus, 401K 4%; 14 days vacation, 9 paid holidays off, plus company shut down between 12/25 and 1/1 and two floating holidays; Health, Dental, Vision benefits, and Life. 
Occasional overnight travel (up to 30%)
