Background:
Our client, a national healthcare business consultant, a leader in the integration of health information technology seamlessly integrating health centers and safety net providers, has engaged ttg to find their next Sr. IT Project Manager for Miami, Florida.  This remote is remote hybrid.


Position Summary 
 
This position is mainly responsible for coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Coordinate with internal and external resources. Tracking tasks to guarantee milestone are delivered on time. Manage resources within the project scope. Set project deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, summarize progress and provide necessary reports.

Position Responsibilities 
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Communicates the timelines and technical resources needed to implement assigned projects efficiently.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with customers as well as other associates. 
  • Tracks and fully documents change for software requirements specifications, in addition to writing and reviewing the Software Requirement Specifications. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge of all systems/technology necessary to complete duties and responsibilities which includes providing end user technical support of supported systems and product lines related to assigned business areas. 
  • Consistently demonstrates ability to identify system requirements/design to facilitate quality organization function and processes, while meeting regulatory/accrediting requirements, and minimizing risk. 
  • Assists with assigned system quality improvement projects before and after feature implementations to show process improvements.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy; adheres to HIPAA standards.
  • Acts as the liaison for assigned system projects and implementations to promote effective and timely communication.
  • Maintains a global vision to determine how new systems will have an impact on all users. 
  • Demonstrates a complete knowledge of systems to eliminate duplication efforts.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Skills, Abilities and Requirements
  • Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Healthcare and/or Community Health Center industry and practices.
  • Healthcare Information Systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project and Visio
  • Ability to work with others to achieve results. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both written and oral, problems and solutions to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.   Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
  • Process-oriented with documentation and project management skills.
  • Individual must show initiative and motivation and must demonstrate successful interpersonal relationship skills.
