Our client, a Global Consumer Product Company, has engaged us to find their next Sr. Manager Investor Relation (IR).  This company is a well-known global organization, and it provides excellent career opportunities for growth.
 
This position affords you a great opportunity to be a key player on the strategic direction definition of the organization with high visibility, both internally, with senior executives and externally, with the investment community at large.   We are seeking a FP&A professional with a strong business who possesses strong financial modeling skills, and acumen to be the second-in-command in the IR Department, aiming to grow into a more prominent position in the organization.
 
You will be responsible for supporting the global investor relations program and supporting Global FP&A team as needed. Specifically, the role will focus on collaborating on the development of the Company's investment thesis to external stakeholders in the short and long term.  Supports the development of Company analytics and insights while successfully establishing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders including Corporate Communications, SEC Reporting and Legal. Develops executive level reporting of market trends and peer research. 
 
Key Areas of Responsibility for the Role
  • Collaborates with the Investor Relations lead on the development of the IR program including investment messaging to educate and update investors and security analysts about the company to achieve a fair valuation
  • Creates complex financial models for both the company and competitors to develop internal and external performance profiles to help senior management in the assessment of company performance and investor expectations
  • Prepares key business analysis including development of models, process improvements and presentations focused identifying insights and opportunities in support of the company’s strategy
  • Development of insightful and value-add company investor relations presentations and Q&A by effectively partnering with teams across the organization to gather, analyze and summarize key operational and financial performance data
  • Conducts revenue, margin analysis by geography and by product to gain understanding of product mix and profit drivers impacting profitability
  • Supports FP&A team with their annual budgets and forecasts
  • Supports the drafting and issuance of earnings and news releases to the investment community
  • Supports the analyses of the company's stock price, analysts' estimates and perceptions, industry and peer company news, economic data and the stock market
  • Leads the analysis of current and potential institutional ownership of the company’s stock and supports the plan to optimize the shareholder base for the company
  • Coordinates conference call and webcast hosting logistics for the quarterly analyst conference call and investor conferences
  • Maintains the IR website
  • Assist with various ad-hoc finance project
