Job Description
 
SUMMARY: The Sr. Financial Analyst manages the spectrum sellback activity with the FCC.  This position interacts with the senior management team, and FCC representatives involved the technology retrofitting of the stations in question.   After the reconciliation is completed, you will have become an expert in broadcasting and be a key part of the FP&A team.    This role provides you great exposure to both the Senior Management Team and the FCC Representatives.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Will consolidate information from various stakeholders to report to the FCC spectrum transition activity
  • Will ensure that FCC provides complementation for the technology replacement
  • We consolidated and manage significant amounts of data to support FCC activity
  • Manage FCC Repack process
  • Each station case will be managed as separate project
  • After FCC Projects is completed, this role will be an integral part of the FP&A team
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Monthly Reporting
  • Variance analysis.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Finance or Accounting degree (or closely related field)
  • Very strong Excel Skills: Including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP formulas
  • 2-4 years of FP&A or accounting relevant experience work experience; prior role in analytical environment preferred
  • Strong Excel and Power Point skills a must; experience in using Oracle Financials and/or Smartview Accounting (PBCS) a plus
  • Big Data Analysis
  • Media industry experience a plus but not necessary

  • Must be willing to work from offices in Miami, Florida
