Our client is a Private Equity company, specialized in acquiring, and turning around Mortgage Loans portfolios.  They have engaged ttg to find their next Secured Portfolio Manager – International.   Looking for someone who preferably has prior experience managing distressed mortgage loan portfolios and has the ability to understand the intricacies of the stages in the journey to turn underperforming secured mortgage loans. Familiarity with banking legal processes, collateral loans and knowledge of real estate loans is a must.

  Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for a portfolio of Secured Mortgage accounts in the Caribbean and Central America
  • Own the process, coordinate with legal, real estate, and other team members at each stage of the loan recovery journey
  • Keep Managing Director abreast portfolio performance
  • Issue periodic reports, Weekly, Bi-Weekly and Monthly
  • Suggest and design relevant follow-up metrics and KPI’s per portfolio, country and HUB.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Central Treasury, Legal and Finance Department, to elaborate yearly budget pertaining the international operations, as well as the company’s International Expansion Plan.
  • Serve as channel and facilitator of the HQ’s instructions, recommendations and suggestions pertaining to specific compliance, performance and implementation aspects of the transaction. 
Requirements:
  • Strong data analytic skills
  • Working to proficient knowledge on different types of funding structures, asset sales.
  • Expertise with dealing with internal and external stakeholders in order to comply with the specified timelines
  • Working knowledge of international funding structures and international financing organizations experience in fulfilling the function of Liaison Unit amongst different Operational and Business Units/Departments in order to consolidate the relevant Financial, Operational and Performance information.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or similar –
    • You can be an attorney with an edge for numbers
    • You can be a business major with an inclination to understanding legal matters related to Secured Assets
  • Bi-Lingual – English and Spanish desired but not required
  • Up to 50% travel at times
  • Very proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Visio preferably
  • Intermediate to proficient knowledge of Debt Management software, specifically Mortgage Loan Administration and Servicing Modules and Legal Process modules - desired.
