Title:  SAP ABAP Programmer
Location:  Miami, FL
Salary Range:  $100K - $110K  


Background:
Our client, a International Medical Device company, a leader in the integration of health information technology seamlessly integrating health centers and safety net providers, has engaged ttg to find their next SAP ABAP Programmer for their Miami, Florida office.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP components and those that interface with other applications.
  • Technical analysis, design, code, configure and testing of components of SAP ERP ECC, SD, MM, FI, CO-PA, WM.
  • Grow a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by Nipro Service Teams.
  • Participate in pager/on-call support during off-hours/weekends/holidays.
  • Work with Nipro Users and Teaming Partners on and across their assigned Support Team.
  • Plan and execute all required process steps as defined in Nipro policies.
  • Provide and owning SAP ECC, SD, MM, FI, CO-PA, WM, or SAP front-end application development support in assigned areas.
  • Analyze, design, code, test, break/fix requests, and enhancements to SAP ECC, , SD, MM, FI, CO-PA, WM objects.
  • Work with Nipro Users, and Teaming Partner team members to gather and interpret functional user/system requirements into technical design specifications.
  • Develop technical system specifications and design SAP code to technical programming standards for break/fix requests and enhancements to SAP modules.
  • Provide secondary support toward installation of application releases into production as directed.
  • Participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.
  • Create operational documentation for the SAP applications.
  • Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively providing work status.
  • Develop industry knowledge and associated skills.
  • Organize and prepare work effectively to 00Kfacilitate proactive resolution of problems.
  • Provide input to assist in determining level of work effort for assigned activities
  • Assist with Nipro IT Director and Team Manager in monitoring budget by providing estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks.
  • Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the applications.
  • Other duties and special projects may be assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) OR Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree OR an additional 4 years of relevant SAP experience
  • 2 years of SAP ABAP development
  • Minimum of 2 year experience with MS Office Suite
  • Prior IT Production Support experience
  • Excellent verbal (English and Spanish), written communication and presentation skills.
  
FOLLOWING SKILLS A PLUS:
  • Experience using JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5, Web development and Sharepoint.
  • SAP ABAP development experience in one or more of the following SAP modules:
    • Financial Accounting (FI)
    • Controlling (CO)
    • Asset Management (AM)
    • Project Management (PS)
    • Supply Chain Management (SCM)
    • Sales and Distribution (SD)
    • Materials Management (MM)
    • Production Planning (PP)
    • Inventory Management (IM) (highly preferred)
    • Warehouse Management (WM) (highly preferred)
    • Workflow (WF)
