PROMOTIONS COORDINATOR – HOSPITALITY
 
 
Summary: The Promotions Coordinator reports to the Promotions Manager. The role is pivotal in the creative development and evaluation of                       promotional strategies and programs, including analysis of marketing materials and promotional events.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the creative development and evaluation of promotional strategies and programs.
  • Coordinates promotional set up as directed by Promotions Manager
  • Assists in the promotional set up of point of sale and digital promotional materials
  • Update weekly scripts for announcements and broadcasts
  • Interacts with customers and guests and provide feedback to departments
  • Analyzes the marketing material and digital screens to assure all promotional collateral and marketing aspects are up to date and accurate
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers as directed regarding marketing and promotional material needs
  • Communicates promotional information and ensure understanding of the promotion’s functions and objective
  • Driven personality that takes initiative and can work autonomously.
  • Collaborates with audio-visual technicians to ensure complete functionality of all equipment for promotional events (including special events)
  • Other relevant duties that support marketing and promotional processes as required
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years of proven entertainment/promotions experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills required.
  • Must have keen attention to detail, organization and time management.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must be flexible and able to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
