We have been engaged by our client in the technology industry to find their next Procurement Analyst to support their Global Procurement team in reviewing and negotiating purchase requests and vendor agreements for Company’s global centers business.  This is a new role based in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area**.  Due to the rapid growth of this company, this role could lead to management opportunities!

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area.
  • At least 5 years of experience negotiating a variety of complex contracts with a significant degree of autonomy.
  • Experience in procurement within the Data Center- Colocation Industry or Technology industry is highly desirable
  • Experience in all or many of the following:
    •  Negotiations with suppliers
    •  Request for Proposal (“RFP”) development
    •  Leads RFP analysis, and manages issuance of Purchase Order (“PO”)
    •  Implementation of procurement tools
    •  Vendor management/vendor on-boarding
    •  strategic projects or tasks
  • Ability to coordinate activities among various departments around the globe.
  • Ability to set appropriate priorities with internal customers and deliver results within agreed timelines.
  • Ability to serve a wide range of departments by recognizing and responding quickly and pragmatically to urgent situations and demanding internal customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of International Shipping is a plus (understanding “red tape”)
  • Knowledge of Supply chain a plus
  • Supports the development of category strategies, and supports annual budgeting processes for third-party spend through research and analytics
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify projects to reduce costs, increase quality and services, manage demand, suppliers, and risk
  • Supports the identification, development, and implementation of sourcing strategies and projects to reduce total delivered cost
  • Supports Request for Proposal (“RFP”) development, leads RFP analysis, and manages issuance of Purchase Order (“PO”)
  • Supports negotiations with suppliers
  • Supports the management of suppliers and contracts to maximize value for the organization
  • Supports the identification and mitigation of supplier risk
  • Works across departments to streamline transaction processes
  • Supports the implementation of procurement tools, technology, and processes to improve results and increase efficiencies
  • Reviewing supplier contracts, using pre-approved modifications, to ensure compliance and protect best interests of the organization
  • Evaluate supplier requests/contracts issues to ensure compliance to company policy and other requirements and notify the appropriate parties of any non-compliance.
  • Provide negotiation and reviewing assistance and general contract support.
Base salary $75k-$85K, health benefits, 401k match, FTO – “Flexible time off” and more!

** This position will start out remote until further notice and expected to return to the office at least a few days per week.  The employee is expected to live in the area.
