Our client, a well-established professional organization with a global footprint, has engaged ttg Talent Solutions to identify their next Manager, Membership Programs.    This company has been in operations for more than 80 years, and in our opinion, it is one of the best workplaces in South Florida
This role is responsible for the research, development, and execution of Membership Programs to grow and engage the organization’s membership. Programs will serve to enhance membership value for important member segments. This position will also serve as the community manager for the online Member Network as well as the liaison with member affinity partners. The Membership Program Manager will also work with the Marketing Department to coordinate the execution of membership promotions.
Duties and responsibilities/essential function
  • Research, recommend, and execute new individual membership programs, benefits, and recognition, with a specific focus on programs and services for special interest groups
  • Manage relationships with member services-related affinity partners and track financial performance of each program.
  • Serve as community manager for the organization’s Member Network.
  • Build and grow communities within the Network, encourage active engagement, and act as the liaison between the Society and its audiences.
  • Assist with technical issues and escalating to other departments or vendors as necessary.
  • Serve as department liaison with the Marketing Department. Develop and execute the annual member-get-a-member campaign, National Professionals Month promotions, and other member recruitment programs.
  • Organize regular sales for the company branded merchandise and manage relationship with Staples including collaborating with Section and Student Chapter staff to coordinate the annual Section Chair and Student Chapter Advisor gift program.
  • Responsible for Silver, Life, and Gold membership milestone recognition program.
  • Organize annual recognition events
  • Host and support membership webinars.
Preferred Qualifications include:
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Experience with Adobe Professional
  • Understanding of current technology 
  • Working knowledge of CRM software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience managing online community or discussion forum
  • Clear and professional communicator both verbally and written
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently but integrate seamlessly in a group environment
  • Capable of managing multiple demands with a high level of organization and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Working conditions
  • Must be able to do limited travel, ~10%
