Our client, a national healthcare business consultant, a leader in the integration of health information technology seamlessly integrating health centers and safety net providers, has engaged ttg to find their next Network Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for Network Operation support, service operations, quality control, maximized performance resolution, hardware and software installation and maintain within Service Level Agreements to ensure services and support are being met and delivered in a consistent manner to clients.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Assist users achieve optimum use of their computer networks by performing needs analysis, procurement support, installation, training, and problem resolution for internal and external customers.
  • Analyze users’ needs, recommend appropriate network configurations to meet users’ needs and departmental standards.
  • Review LAN/WAN/Wifi/VoIP assessments for member centers and implement necessary changes, adhering to organizational standards and industry best practice.
  • Configure, implement, and maintain firewalls, switches, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security.
  • Upgrade network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
  • Ensuring daily operations of the multi-protocol, multi-vendor network to ensure data network availability. 
  • Use network management systems to review, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot the operation of data network devices and circuits. 
  • Perform preventative and fault isolation maintenance on the networks, servers, domains, electronic post offices, and user files.
  • Create and execute changes to the network using industry standard change control practices. 
  • Document requests clearly and thoroughly through our ticketing systems.
  • Work closely with all IT teams to display continuous service and support to member centers.
  • Prepare regularly scheduled reports for supervisor.
  • Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information.
  • Keep current on new developments and techniques in information technology.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for afterhours and weekend support. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Skills, Abilities and Requirements 
  • Cloud and On-Prem Network Infrastructure architectures.
  • Network Redundancy. High availability and Fault Tolerance
  • Network Security
  • SD-WAN Technologies
  • Firewalls, Routers, Switches, WAPs, and other network equipment.
  • TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, BGP, DHCP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing, switching, subnetting.
  • VPN, MPLS, Express Routes, DIA, etc.
  • Enterprise VoIP systems. On-Prem Contact Center and Cloud Offerings (CCaaS)
  • Experience with Windows Server, Linux and MAC OS, Citrix environment, File and Print Servers, AD, Group Policy, DNS, Microsoft O365, 
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of reliability, scalability and availability of network services. 
  • Expert ability to design, configure and troubleshoot enterprise level network connectivity. 
  • Expert level understanding of network troubleshooting, logging and proactive network maintenance.
