Membership Coordinator- Professional Organization

ttg Talent Solutions has been engaged by our client to search for the next Membership Coordinator. This is for a professional non-profit organization which was established over 100 years ago.
 
The Membership Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include providing a broad range of customer service and administrative support to corporate and individual members. This involves responding to phone calls and email messages, data entry and verification, and communicating with other departments to solve problems. The Membership Coordinator is involved with the full membership life cycle, including processing membership applications, renewals, and reinstatements, and sending membership materials
 
Reports to:  Director, Membership
 
 Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills, with a commitment to taking ownership of member/customer problems and seeing them through to resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Comfortable using Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or other web browsers to navigate webpages and look up information
  • Experience working with member/customer databases
  • Clear and professional communicator both verbally and written
  • Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently but integrate seamlessly in a group environment
  • Ability to build rapport with members, customers, and staff
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other CRM system
  • Experience using Adobe Professional
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint or other collaborative programs
 
Duties and responsibilities
  • Customer service including responding promptly and courteously to phone calls, faxes, and emails and conducting necessary research for quick and accurate follow-up
  • Data entry tasks related to the processing of member applications, renewals, and reinstatements in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM database
  • Updating individual and corporate records as needed
  • Processing credit card payments for all categories of memberships
  • Responding to internal reports to resolve issues related to membership
  • Forwarding related reports to other departments as needed
  • Assist with the delivery of materials to members, including new member welcome packets, and corporate packets containing letters, cards, certificates, and plaques.
  • Have a complete understanding all membership benefits to provide information to members and customers
  • Careful attention to detail to maintain the integrity of the membership database during all activities
  • Assists with membership programs or special projects as assigned
 
Compensation: Hourly rate is $16-$18 per hour plus benefits.
