The position:
The marketing director is responsible for formulating, designing, and implementing the marketing strategy of the company, with the main objective of maximizing profitability by expanding Silverspot’s customer base, and by increasing both customer visits’ recurrence and average spend per visit.
The Marketing Director will be reporting directly to the CEO.
 
Goals for the role:
Create the appropriate Marketing and Digital Media Strategy to:
  • Be able to reach consumers through digital and traditional platforms and integrate marketing efforts across various revenue streams of the company
  • Create traffic into our cinemas
  • Increase retention of our guests by minimizing churn, and increasing the frequency of their visits
  • Maximize ASPV (Average spend per visitor)
  • Support the opening of our new facilities
  • Become the Digital Media sound board for the Sr. Executive team
  • All these have to be done with the Surprise and Delight factors considered in every step of what we do.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and devise out-of-the-box strategies for reaching consumers
  • Develop tactical plans to execute on marketing strategy with tangible metrics that measure progress and impact.
  • Identify product/service positioning and messaging; Develop, socialize, and execute company’s marketing metrics, strategies, and tactics to cost-effective increase lead generation.
  • Create Social Media campaigns that properly segmented by demographics, movie tastes.
  • Identified the correct Social Media, and vehicle to reach, Surprise and Delight our guests
  • Able to design the necessary and appropriate metrics to measure the effectiveness of our Social Media Marketing Campaigns
  • Oversee the strategy and production of a constant stream of content marketing and thought leadership programs/materials that support our brand and revenue goals.
  • Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g. website, blogs, emails and social media) to ensure brand consistency.
  • Provide senior leadership accurate plan, execution, summaries and analysis of results ranging from Marketing influence on revenue to website metrics to campaign outcomes
  • Develop company’s social media strategy, designed to drive brand awareness, build relationships with influencers, and increase positive brand association.
  • Lead go-to-market and launch activities for new locations and new offerings, including market analysis, messaging, launch plans, budgets, and execution.
  • Develop overall digital marketing strategy/roadmap, define key priorities, and oversee the execution of multiple campaigns, paid search and related digital marketing plans, with a specific focus on driving acquisition, retention, and re-acquisition.
  • Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare budget.
  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics, or other analytics tools.
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor partnerships with agencies handling SEO, SEM, Google Adwords, Social Media & content marketing.
  • Liaise with C-Suite and other Senior Management team members (including GMs) to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies.
  • Motivate marketing team to achieve goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments.
 
Requirements:
  • 7 years of experience to develop multi-channel, campaigns with a track record of exceptional results.
  • Social Media guru
  • Experience in entertainment industry, start-ups, press and media relations, and managing PR firm preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in marketing space. 
  • Experience in developing an annual Marketing strategy and related overarching marketing plans.
  • Proven experience in developing highly creative new marketing concepts and sales-focused strategies.
  • Expert in both B2B and B2C marketing, including inbound marketing, offline marketing, and marketing automation. As the owner of the marketing funnel, this person should have experience with tactics in a variety of lifecycle stages.
  • Ability to design the collection of key data inputs, analyze them, and turn them into insight-driven decision-making to drive clear results and marketing optimization.
  • Experience in all demand channels including SEM, SEO, Google Analytics, Email, Lifecycle marketing.
  • Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a marketing-related discipline preferred. Master degree a plus.
  • Excellent English speaker and full writing fluency is a must. Bilingual preferred.
