Manager, SGA Overhead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Mami, FL
Job Summary:
Oversee the company’s overhead spending, including SG&A (Selling, General and Administrative) expenses, ensuring compliance to monthly reporting, variance analysis, project expense tracking, cost allocation and performance monitoring. Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing process as needed. The role is an integral part of the company’s financial health,
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for reporting, planning and forecasting of SG&A (Selling General & Administrative) expenses.
  • Identify, implement, monitor and report relevant metrics and measurements to bring clear visibility to the SG&A spend
  • Partner cross-functionally with departments to track measurable performance
  • Establish and manage the general ledger / sub-ledger cost center structure to enable tracking of corporate SG&A expenses
  • Supports the monthly accounting close process as may be needed to accurately report on SG&A spend
  • Review SG&A actual spend and conduct comparative to budgets and forecasts
  • Develop, implement and monitor consistently applied methods for corporate cost allocation
  • Provide in depth financial analysis of actual spend to drive profitability and cost optimization efforts
  • Track project spend, developing and reporting on variance analysis
  • Responsible for coordinating across functions budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support the development and implementation of expense management policies and initiatives
Qualifications/ Skills:
  • Advanced level of proficiency of Microsoft Office, EPM - Hyperion, Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, long-term plans, and strategic decision support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with finance and non-finance departments.
  • Ability to independently identify & resolve highly complex problems/tasks
  • Self- starter and hands on professional.

Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate finance or related discipline, required.
