Training and Leadership Development Specialist-Healthcare

Position Overview: The Training and Leadership Development Specialist administers, organizes and conducts training, educational programs. Assesses, designs and develops training programs. This position will travel to train multiple facilities locally. 

Job Duties
  • Responsible for New Hire Orientations and trains on all systems
  • Conducts classroom, small groups, virtual, and individual training
  • Educate staff on customer Service, compliance, career development, leadership etc. training
  • Designs, develops and updates training
  • Train associates on EMR system -NextGen Healthcare EMR system
  • Continuous training on compliance issues relating to healthcare, HIPPA, etc.
  • Cross-trains all associates on all systems.
  • Stay abreast of training, development, and learning materials, methods and techniques and their possible application to current/planned training/educational program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
**This position requires travel by car to local facilities within Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach and portions of Tampa.  Overnight travel maybe expected based on need. The position is based at the corporate office in Miami (Doral Area,) when not traveling to facilities. **
  
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years or more experience in training experience within the healthcare industry
  • Must have excellent presentation skills
  • Must be confident in public speaking skills
  • Medical Center (staff model HMO) training experience a plus
  • Must have experience creating and developing training using Power Point
  • Experience in Leadership development training
  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience training healthcare staff on EMR system, preferred (Next Gen - huge plus)
  • Must have a reliable car along with clean driving record
  • Must be comfortable training the medical clinical staff such as Physicians, NP, PA, RN and others
Compensation
  • $70-$80K – (Open for discussion), excellent benefits, 15 days PTO, Holiday’s off, milage reimbursement and more!
  
Work Schedule
  • General Work Hours - Monday- Friday from 8:30am – 5:30 pm (or 8am -5pm) However, due to the nature of this role, hours by vary
  
Dress Code
  • Monday- Thursday Business attire, Friday Business Casual – Corporate Office
