Jr. Procurement Analyst
Our client, a National Food and Beverage Consumer Product company, has engaged ttg to find their next Jr. Procurement Analyst.
Position Summary:
Analysis of data to support the development of procurement and distribution strategies.  Strong attention to detail is required to analyze data related to the company components and materials for the product, as well as packaging, and equipment through the organization’s Supply Chain system.
Looking for a fast leaner, enthusiastic hands-on procurement professional to grow with the company.  F&B experience a plus.
Position Summary:
  • Full cycle procurement process
  • Analyze raw data to help support purchasing strategies
  • Create cost models for total cost of ownership
  • Evaluate and track inventory positions
  • Update supplier’s contract by validating data
  • Ability to issue purchase orders, update details, obtain confirmation/acknowledgement of orders, and track arrival
  • Track supplier’s performance in preparation for business reviews
  • Help support operation teams with all purchasing related inquiries
  • Update standard operating procedures as needed
  • Use Excel and Power Point to summarize data and create presentations
  • Other administrative tasks as needed
  • Education: College Education – 4 years, Business, or related degree / experience.
  • Experience: At least two years of progressive supply chain and/or procurement experience.
  • Communication Skills: Well-Articulated able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write business emails, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to conduct online research.
  • Spanish a plus
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate Excel and Power Point skills required. Advance skills a plus.
  • Ability to learn ERP and Inventory software
  • Time Management and ability to multitask
