IT Project Coordinator

ttg has been engaged to find the next IT Project Coordinator for a large media and entertainment conglomerate.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Onsite support system to multiple IT projects and day-to-day needs of the organization. Providing resource coordination, procurement, scheduling and documentation support to internal IT teams and business clients.
The coordinator is a critical piece for allocation of funds and financial tracking. You will also be responsible for maintaining software and hardware assets of the business customer and the service technology team, and will provide administrative support to the team when organizing, planning, and implementing changes. The main responsibilities are:
  • Document project needs requirements, progress and challenges.
  • Maintain inventory of non-enterprise licensing.
  • Assist clients with all inquiries regarding purchasing and order status.
  • Procure equipment and software as needed and coordinate deployment with analysts.
  • Record update for ServiceNow records as needed for user, asset, and CI.
  • Asset management functions: deployments, reassignments and decommission.
  • Engage with vendors for procurement, quotes, and escalations.
  • Governance for procurement requests.
  • Create annual PC refresh schedule based on opportunities and business availability.
  • Plan, oversee, and coordination of resources and documentation with clients and move teams to plan large deployments and moves.
  • Asset management for New equipment, project equipment and loaner.
  • Assist with onsite user training as part of project implementations and Technology deployments.
  • Discuss weekly new hire list with HR managers. Quality Assurance for all new hire deployments and refreshes.
  • Additional task and responsibilities as required by upper management.
Requirements:
  • Project Management skills and experience.
  • Mission critical support environment experience.
  • Availability 24x7 (On-Call).
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with methodical approach for all projects.
  • 2 years’ experience providing coordinator support for a fortune 500 company in a very fast paced environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization in all written and oral communications.
  • Professional attitude in all interactions (internally and externally).
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented, customer-oriented mindset and accountability.
  • Willingness to work all shifts (day or night).
