IS DIrector

Job purpose
The IS Director is responsible for the development and availability of the organization’s business systems.
The ideal candidate will have 7 plus years’ experience with business systems process development and management. Deep technical skillset with robust problem solving and analytical skills. Significant experience leading development teams, thorough understanding of software development life cycle and systems life cycle. Adept at managing expectations as well as realistic estimating both costs and time related to software projects.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills and have passion for staying current and implementing new technologies.
Duties and responsibilities/essential function
The IS Director is responsible for the business systems and intelligence tools of the organization. Must meet project/department milestones/goals and adhering to development timeline.
  • 7 years’ experience with software development, specifically around Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience and skilled in C# .net development
  • Web Services development and management.
  • JavaScript and associated libraries.
  • Lean development and rapid turn time development strategies
  • Ability to model processes, execute development and document results.
  • Ability to manage staff of developers and system administrator(s)
  • Ability to maintain and keep current multiple systems
  • Knowledge of and ability to read financial statements and P&L
  • Ability to mentor staff and help solve deep technical issues

Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
  • Proficient with developing, deploying, customizing and integrating Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using the either the CRM SDK or plugin platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft .NET 4.0 development using C#.
  • Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
  • Internally motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven communication skills with both internal team members and external
  • Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Working conditions
  • Must be able to travel, up to 10%. 
  • Must be able to utilize office equipment such as desktop/notebook computers, copiers, printers, scanners, telephones, and calculators. 
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
