Job Overview:
Our client a Global CGP company has engaged ttg to their next Sales Coordinator, on a long-term project basis, to assist Sales Operations.   In this role, you will have a high visibility with Senior Executives, and there might be opportunities for a permanent role in the future.  Our client is a publicly traded company, with many professional opportunities.
This position will be responsible for maintaining daily and accurate sales transactions.  In this role, will also provide excellent customer service to client base, and provide feedback to management team on process improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to continually generate repeat business.   
  • Inform District Manager and Sales Manager of any customer feedback on a daily basis as related to potential issues, complaints or comments that may improve the quality of service.   
  • Enter orders, verify accuracy of item information, pricing, reference numbers, and customer confirmations.
  • Notify appropriate departments to ensure all customers are supplied with requested products in a timely manner. 
  • Daily review of all previous day’s shipping, to validate adjustments and resubmit information as needed.
  • Cultivate business relationships with daily phone interaction to ensure customer loyalty.
  • Communicate with Senior Management and Product Coordinators to gain a better understanding of Company’s product lines.
  • Generate department reports as needed.
  • Complete all tasks and duties related to sales as directed by Sales Manager.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, from an accredited institution.    
  • At least 2 to 3 years prior experience in a similar role (e.g. customer service, assistant, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field from an accredited institution.
  • Produce Sales experience
  • Product knowledge and understanding of the fresh produce industry.
