Run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring and staff, pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
- Provides guidance to management and supervisors on employee relations issues and disciplinary action.
- Assists with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Manage Payroll by check time and labor, processing leave request (Vacation/PTO/Others), consolidating information on respective tools/platforms and preparing payroll related reports.
- Monitor and enforce internal Covid-19 related protocols, meetings, biweekly presentations, supplies, etc.
- Administer office ambiance set up (Tv, Music, scent, etc.).
- Assist staff meetings by hosting Traction tool.
- Manage office & cleaning supplies inventory and requests
- Schedule, prepare, arrange, and host monthly meeting presentation to employees globally.
- Plan and coordinate monthly cultural activities.
- Coordinate internship program with Dan Marino Foundation and other entities.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions globally (US, Panama, Paraguay, Chile, etc); collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Coordinate with required vendors to fulfill the whole recruitment cycle.
- Onboards new hires both locally and internationally.
- Carry out employment verification with I-9 form through e-verify.
- Employee’s benefits enrollment (Life Insurance, Visual) after 90 days probation period.
- Audit employee’s benefits and legal requirements to ensure only current employees are included (Life Insurance, Visual, Workers Comp, etc)
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Implements employee rewards and recognition programs.
- Coordinate new hires performance evaluation for 30, 60 and 90 days
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations and properly documenting each event.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Creates and revises company policy & procedures to support business objectives, minimize legal risks and cultivate the company’s culture.
- Responsible for special projects to improve HR and company operations.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Oversee building maintenance by connecting with required vendors.
- Perform building audit quarterly.
- Coordinate Insurance renewals.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least two year of human resource management experience preferred.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish required
- SHRM-CP a plus.
