Job Summary:
This position support both the US HR Sr. Management Team as well the Global Corporate Office for a Global Pharmaceutical company.

Drawing upon HR global best practices, the Human Resources Business Partner will focus on providing their client group with an HR solution to propel the required business results while aligning to the overall HR priorities.
 
Participates in their client group’s leadership meetings to advise on HR matters and HR Compliance issues. Collaborates and engages accordingly with the HR Center of Expertise (e.g. Total Rewards, People Development, Talent Acquisition, Change and Organizational Design) to identify solutions for their client group(s) that are practical and relevant. Provide Human Resources consulting services to leaders as it relates to strategic, operational, and employee relations needs. Drives ideas and suggestions to enhance and evolve both local and global HR practices, programs and policies.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of strategic HR
  • Ability to actively engaged with Sr. Leadership team to support business structure
  • Responsible for aligning the organizational structure and talent strategy to the business needs.
  • Ability to represent HR team and company in certain events
  • Ability to implement HR standards, policies, initiatives and projects to ensure long term business sustainability.
  • Effectively manages stakeholder expectations in the business unit and HR and drives to achieve mutually beneficial goals and outcomes.
  • Support corporate office in rolling out global initiatives in the US
  • Crafts and implements strategies to address business challenges, consistent with the global HR strategy.
  • Demonstrate strong and visible support of our Purpose, Values and competencies while performing our daily work.
  • Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.
  • Experience with ATS and other systems management and implementation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or business field with appropriate HR experience
  • Experience in leading HR programs and projects, including change management responsibilities.
  • At least 7 years progressive Human Resource experience, including a minimum 4 years in a generalist/employee relations capacity; experience working in a CoE and/or a business function an asset
  • Professional HR designation preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicts and diffuse tension among employees
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Employment Legislation; coaching and counseling; dispute resolution and facilitation skills; principles of change management
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to manage senior level and complex stakeholder groups
  • Superior communication and relationship building skills with the demonstrated ability to cultivate effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Experience working in a global matrix with an inclusive mind-set and ability to adapt to diverse cultural and business needs
  • Ability to apply workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies and succession management to daily business needs
  • Ability to drive results as an individual contributor while staying focused on overall HR team goals and success
  • Ability to coach, counsel and guide clients across all levels of an organization
  • Skilled at anticipating the long-term impact of all decisions and able to take a broad approach to problem solving
  • Impeccable communication and presentations skills
  • A willingness to travel as required
