Summary:
The House Supervisor assists the Director of Nursing and the nursing Supervisory Team with providing and maintaining quality clinical care and a safe environment for our residents and patients. The House Supervisor oversees staffing and works with the Scheduling manager to ensure patient care and facility needs are met. This position fulfills multiple roles including patient advocacy, facility manager and staff supervisor with oversight and coordination of all resources. Every other weekend is required.
Detailed responsibilities:
Licensure Certification: Licensed Registered Nurse within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Detailed responsibilities:
- Contributes to planning processes to achieve objectives guided by the vision and mission of facility
- Assures compliance with DOH, CMS and other regulatory and/or accrediting bodies.
- Collaborates with NHA and remains accountable for the operational and financial performance of the Nursing Department.
- Drives quality initiatives and oversees and maintains a QAPI and Infection Control program aligned with regulations.
- Leads efforts for recruitment, staffing, and retention of nursing team.
- Communicates timely and accurately with employees and customers. Meets with staff and management regularly to ensure initiatives and goals are being met
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Clinical knowledge
- Leadership skills
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- 3-5 years of experience as a nurse, preferably in a skilled nursing care setting
- 2-4 years demonstrated supervisory experience is required.
- Wound care experience, including assessing skin alterations, developing plans of care, implementing orders and treatments, and evaluating progress of specialized skin and wound conditions.
Licensure Certification: Licensed Registered Nurse within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
