Great Plains Administrator

Background:
 
Our client, a well-established organization, over 8 decades, with a solid global reputation, and they have engaged us to find their next Great Plains Administrator. This role is part of the IT Group.
 
Job purpose:
 
The Great Plains Administrator is responsible for all aspects of application management. This role would be the key stakeholder in maintenance, planning, compliance, security, execution, internal controls, technical support, and implementations. Supports all business, finance, and accounting experts through financial systems. 
 
Duties and responsibilities/essential function:
  • Manages and implements standard operating procedures
  • Help desk support
  • Manages interactions, and implementations with the financial support team
  • Execute excellent problem solving
  • Troubleshooting
  • Third party applications installation, implementations, and management tools as needed
  • Vendor management
  • Performance reviews
  • SQL and ad-hoc reporting
  • Manage audit documentation.
  • Application health management
  • Integrations between MSCRM and GP.
Qualifications/competencies:
  • Great Plains – 5 years of GP implementation and support experience
  • SQL/Data Warehouse -5 years of SQL/Data Warehouse experience
  • Extensive experience with large scale systems integration
  • Experience driving efficiency in Financial systems
  • Ability to interface with Department heads and work effectively as a Team and support team members
Core Competency Requirements
  • Proficient with developing, deploying, customizing and integrating MS CRM
  • Demonstrated proficiency in installing and deploying CRM Organizations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in customizing and creating CRM entities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using the either the CRM SDK or plugin platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft .NET 3.5 development using C#
  • Experience with source control management systems
  • Experience with continuous integration/deployment environments
  • Proven communication skills with both team members and stakeholders
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes

  • Certifications -Exam ID Description - Preferred
  • MB3-529 Microsoft Dynamics™ GP 10.0 Inventory & Order Processing
  • MB3-528 Microsoft Dynamics™ GP 10.0 Financials
Preferred Competency Requirements
  • Undergraduate in IT (preferred)
