Background:
ttg has been engaged by our national footprint, Fortune 500 CPG partner to find their next Sr. eCommerce Manager. This position is responsible for developing and executing the eCommerce strategy.  In addition, this role will scope and define projects, outlining the necessary deliverables, time and cost and then partnering effectively across all functions (IT, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, etc.) to execute.

Accountabilities:
  • Scope and define projects, outlining the necessary deliverables, timing, and cost
  • Ensure all project objectives and strategic approaches are defined and documented
  • Manage expectations across all functions (IT, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, etc.) after scope of work has been agreed to
  • Distribute weekly project status reports, making necessary changes along the way
  • Work with Technical (IT), Sales, Marketing, Logistics & QA resources to schedule product releases (SKU’s) before deployment
  • Partner with business, technical, and consumer experience stakeholders to manage website design & development
  • Analyze various data to deliver data driven strategies, top performance and achieve KPIs
  • Manage customer service rep’s
  • Design and document all processes related to e-commerce (Customer Journey & CSR)
 
Main Areas of Responsibility
  • Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting
  • Develop and implement ecommerce strategy to improve website performance
  • Work with developers to improve website speed
  • Work with the marketing team to improve quality and traffic acquisition
  • Research market to discover new trends and technologies to improve website performance
  • Analyze various data to deliver data driven strategies, top performance and achieve KPIs
  • Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, display, affiliates and email marketing and social media
  • Develop content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development
  • Effective budgeting and control
  • Report on performance
  • Developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies
  • Developing and deploying new e-commerce business models
  • Developing and Deploying New Products
 
Minimum Skills Required:
  • 4-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
  • 7-8 years of experience managing development projects in eCommerce from inception to launch
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, building & managing plans, scope of work, assessing & assigning resources, budgeting, risk management, and scheduling
  • Proven track record of managing a successful project from implementation
  • High attention to detail, excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of eCommerce architecture, systems and functionality
  • Strong Data Analytics Skills
  • Knowledge of tools and systems like: Google & Facebook Ads Manager; Salesforce (or similar Sales Software); Adobe Photoshop; Google Analytics; etc.
