Database Administrator
Location:  Miami, Florida

Salary Range:  $60K to $100K (DOE)
Job purpose
The Database Administrator is responsible for the development, maintenance and availability of
the organization’s data sources.
The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years’ experience with database administration. The
candidate will have experience managing expectations as well as estimating and MS SQL
development and management skills.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication and customer
service skills and have passion for staying current and implementing new technologies.
Duties and responsibilities/essential function
The Database Administrator is responsible for development, maintenance and availability of the
organization’s data sources. Monitoring, optimizing, and securing all database systems across
the network. Must meet project/department milestones/goals and adhering to development
  • 3 years’ experience with database administration, specifically around Microsoft SQL
  • Experience and skilled in SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI and tsql.
  • Database architecture design and optimization.
  • Database security, cloud infrastructure, load balance and performance optimization.
  • FetchXml query, power query, power apps and flow.
  • Ability to model business processes, specifically around data
  • Reporting optimization across multiple platforms and systems.

Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
  • Proficient with database architecture and optimization
  • Proficient in designing and building optimal data retrieval for SOA requirements.
  • Database maintenance package development and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of storage, ram, cpu optimization based on database demands.
  • Understanding of load balancing technologies as related to database management.
  • Ability to leverage flow, power apps and power bi to optimize data capture and automation.
  • Knowledge of presentation tools like SSRS, Power bi, and SharePoint integration.
  • Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Working conditions
  • Must be able to travel, up to 10%.
  • Must be able to utilize office equipment such as desktop/notebook computers, copiers,

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical requirements
  • The ability to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard,
mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
  • The ability to travel by car or airplane as needed to do the work.
