Schedule: Fulltime – Days
Summary:
Under the supervision of the manager and registered nurse, the certified surgical technician provides safe and efficient care to the patient in the operating room. Included in this assignment is a strong working knowledge of the perioperative setting and effective communication skills in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization
Required Work Experience:
Education: Graduate of a formal training program in operating room technology and/or from an accredited school of Nursing, must pass CST exam within 180 days of graduation

- Two years’ Operating Room Experience preferred
- Ortho and Neuro experience strongly preferred
Education: Graduate of a formal training program in operating room technology and/or from an accredited school of Nursing, must pass CST exam within 180 days of graduation
Licenses/Certifications
- Current BCLS certification
- Certification CST by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or TS-C by National Center for Competency Testing.
- MUST have certification of CST by NBSTSA
