Clinical Supervisor
 
Managed Care Medical Group is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for their growing practice. This role reports to the Vice President of Clinical Operations and will have responsibilities in multiple offices throughout Florida.
 
Oversees the clinical operations of the healthcare clinic and supervises the clinical team leads. Plans, directs and evaluates all medical activities within the centers. Provides clinical leadership, consultation and support to all clinical team members. Responsible for directing a team of clinical professionals and support staff to provide quality cost-effective clinical care.
  • Supervises centers for compliance with licensing, OSHA, HIPAA, state and federal regulations.
  • Oversee and manage clinical flow, the interaction of all clinical staff, and all daily functions.
  • Responsible for ordering medical supplies according to the department needs.
  • Reports malfunction of medical equipment and safety issues to Regional Clinical Supervisor and Center Coordinator.
  • Assures center compliance of HIPAA laws by all Medical Assistants and Medical Assistant Team Leads.
  • Supervisors that HEDIS guidelines are being met by all medical assistants and notifies providers of pending gaps.
  • Immediately reports any issues, or unresolved matters to VP of Clinical Operations.
Position will travel from Miami to Polk County, with 16 offices, regularly. Flexible schedule required as hours can extend into the evenings.
 
Qualifications :
 
RN strongly preferred, LPN or Certified MA with ALL qualifications below may be considered.
 
▪ Has knowledge of EKG, lab, X-ray, holter monitor, accu-check, and spirometry.
▪ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
▪ Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
▪ Ability to organize work and follow instructions.
▪ Must be able maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
▪ Must be able to follow policies and procedures and work flexible schedule.
▪ Ability to communicate and deal effectively with patients, co-workers, medical staff, visitors and other health care providers.
▪ Ability to work cooperatively with other office personnel.
▪ Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred; must be able to read, write and speak English.
▪ At least One-year experience in a clinical setting.
▪ Basic computer knowledge; MS Word and MS Excel, internet, document with Electronic Health Records and/or authorization system with minimal typing/spelling errors, send e-faxes and email.
▪ Strong people skill, independent decision making and customer service oriented. 
▪ Knowledge of medical terminology.
▪ Annual OSHA Training.
