Assistant Business Manager – Coral Gables, FL
Position Description:
  • The Assistant Business Manager is required to have knowledge of basic administrative and accounting processes with solid acumen in the understanding of business finance and payroll accounting systems. Must be able to work hand in hand with the managing partner to drive, support and retain revenue and profitability goals. Must have the ability to liaise between clients and senior engineers.
  • Engage in all phases of the accounts receivable cycle including project management, communication with clients, cash application and any required follow ups.
  • Financial management of client accounts
  • Manage the organization’s payroll process
  • Maintain budgets on construction projects
  • Prepare application for payment for various construction loans
  • Coordinate the scheduling of all inspections and monthly reports
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum credit score of 700
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in accounting, property management, construction industry or engineering and/or training or equivalent combination (education/experience)
  • Bookkeeping knowledge
  • Versatile in Quick Books
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Deal with shifting priorities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with all levels of the organization
  • Eloquent in communications with parties outside the organization
  • Excellent speaker and writer; strong grammatical skills a must
