Summary
Our client is a company leader in the distribution of food and candy in the US, and looking for their New Sales Coordinator / Account Manager     
Administrative Assistant / Sales Coordinator will provide support in all aspects of sales and logistics, reporting to the Head of Sales and work with current clients.   This role will partner directly with the Head of Sales and logistics to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are operating efficiently and effectively.
 
Hours of Operations: Monday- Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm except every Friday, the offices will be closed   one-half hour prior to sundown.
Responsibilities- partial list
  • Account Management and Sales Support with cross-functional collaboration the Sales Manager, Marketing & logistics to drive sales and promote Company’s products.
  • Provide support to accounting department for billing purposes.
  • Assist with placing orders, pricing and billing activities.
  • Coordinate to ensure orders are delivered properly and in a timely fashion manner.
  • Provide support to logistics in connection with the preparation and distribution of orders to Company’s customers.
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare sales data and inventory reports for analysis.
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is timely delivered to clients, and suppliers.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
  • This position can grow into a Global Sales Manager through success and accomplishments
Qualifications
  • At least an associate degree Required, (business management, merchandising, marketing, logistics, or related field) Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of sales, sales support, logistics, marketing or related experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent team development and leadership skills
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and solve problems
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to perform tasks with reasonable independence
  • Detail-oriented, well organized and analytical
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus, but not required
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary $30-$35K / Year, plus health benefits, PTO, up to 10 days VTO (Vacation) Accrued time off, plus up to 14 paid holidays (depending on if they fall on a work day or a Federal Holiday); and 5 days off due to corporate closure usually Dec 26-December 30th.
