General Summary:
Assist in the processing of Lending Department and Collections activity by performing assigned duties and clerical functions. Process insurance claims for appropriate automobile coverage as defined by state law. Amazing Benefits!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain current working knowledge of Credit Union loan and insurance policies and procedures, including proper loan documentation and insurances available on auto loans and the regulation, compliance and processing issues governing cash.
  • Maintain Allied Lending Solutions/CUNA warranty, balance the sales tax and income generated monthly and post to the general ledger at month end.
  • Work hand in hand with  all insurance issues with both CUNA Mutual Group and Allied Lending Solutions
  • Maintain the Forced-Placed Insurance from Allied Lending Solutions for all members that show no subsequent proof of auto insurance and process appropriate refunds when adequate proof of insurance is shown.
  • Provide assistance in filing, in-putting data to the computer system, recording information as required, answering telephones, and other general office duties, as may be assigned by the Loan Manager.
  • Adjust all loan payments errors, for all departments.
  • Responsible for loan maintenance of all departments and branches.
  • Work on special projects as may be assigned by the Senior Vice President of Lending and/or Vice President of Collections.
  • Cross-train in the Insurance Product Analyst job function to provide support in the department.
  • Three to five years experience and/or training is required preferably in a lending environment.
  • Must be able to use a personal computer and interpret loan documents and business correspondence, as well as apply basic mathematical concepts to daily work, i.e., percentages, discounts, interest, etc.
  • Must be able to perform basic clerical duties and possess the knowledge to work common office equipment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
